Mission
Offering and continuously exploring alternative solutions to single-use plastic consumption.
Vision
The Balearic Islands with alternatives to single-use plastic, accessible to all communities by 2030.
Our main
promise is…
To make living without single-use plastic easy! The Cleanwave Movement is committed to finding practical solutions to single-use plastic across the Balearic Islands. With specific focus on plastic-free water solutions and single-use plastic-free events, we are providing easy alternatives and mobilising a societal shift away from single-use consumption to a more sustainable reuse mindset.
What we do
We offer solutions
Cleanwave has created a network of filling points and public water sources, where people can fill their bottles for free. We also provide water solutions for events. You can buy your Cleanwave bottle and download our application to find the closest filling point.
We raise awareness
In a world dominated by the presence of plastic, it is imperative to raise awareness about the environmental and health cost of its excessive consumption. Plastic pollution wreaks havoc on ecosystems, endangering marine life and leaving an indelible mark on our planet. Beyond the environmental impact, the chemicals that leach from plastic pose risks to human health. Education, promotion of sustainable alternatives, legislative changes and community participation are crucial components of the solution. By informing the public, advocating for policy changes, and adopting eco-friendly alternatives, we can collectively mitigate the harmful effects of plastic consumption, fostering a future where our planet and our well-being are prioritized over easy, mindless consumption.
We connect local, public and private entities
Local companies can join the Cleanwave movement becoming filling points and providing better alternatives to single -use plastic water bottles.
